Nubia Filmworks Interviews Basketball Legend John Lucas

Nubia Filmworks, LLC proudly announces that they have completed an interview with former NBA and University of Maryland Basketball legend John Lucas. The interview will be included as part of their new feature length documentary film entitled THE GAME THAT CHANGED COLLEGE BASKETBALL. The film, which is scheduled to be released in 2019, revisits the historic 1974 ACC Championship game between N.C State University and the University Maryland and its ultimate impact on the game of college basketball. The Producers have an agreement with a major cable sports network to air the film during the 2019 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
THE GAME THAT CHANGED COLLEGE BASKETBALL is produced and directed by award-winning independent filmmaker, Shuaib Mitchell (Nocturnal Agony, Too Saved, Straight Up Go-Go) and features some of the greatest names in college basketball history including Hall of Fame Maryland basketball coach Charles “Lefty” Driesell, Maryland basketball legends, Len Elmore, Tom McMillan, John Lucas, Tom Roy, and Billy Hahn, N.C State basketball legends, David Thompson, Tom Burleson, and Monte Towe, former NBA and Basketball Hall of Fame legend Charlie Scott, and award winning author and Washington Post Columnist John Feinstein. Maryland basketball legend Len Elmore (Pivot Productions, Inc.) is “Co-Producer” of the film.
